Hi,
I am an applicant for the Fall 2010 Daytime MBA program at Duke. I am currently employed with KPMG in Mumbai,India with their IT Advisory group and am functioning as an Analyst in the ERP Consulting division (since Nov 2007). Prior to this, I was employed with GE Industrial in their ERP Oracle Support Consulting division. My total work-ex by July 2010 would be 4 years.
I wish to move to management and strategy consulting post my MBA and follow a generalist's approach to work in various sectors including socio-economic domains.
1. With my exposure to business processes and technology - how feasible would this shift be?
2. Marketing is an area that interests me - I eventually want to settle this area - focus on providing inputs for consumer products - product launch, market strategy etc. - (this after working as a management consultant across different sectors)
With the above goals, what should be my approach?
Thanks,
Shubham
